Our programs use sneakers as a gateway into chemistry, engineering, innovation, and creativity through experiences like wearable sneaker customization, sneaker art, and sneaker-centered STEAM workshops. I’m Jakyra Simpson – aka Ky the Chemist – master chemist, science communicator, and founder of STEAM Sneakerheadz™. Born from my love of hip-hop culture, pop culture, sneakers, and science, this venture bridges culture and chemistry in a bold, creative way.
